Stormbound follows Magnus Björnsson, a sixteen-year-old boy from modern Norway who begins the story feeling weak, humiliated, and powerless. After being beaten to death in an alley by Orks, he awakens in Norskheimr, a brutal mythic realm within the wider War for the Adamite Throne universe. There he is thrown into a harsh LitRPG-style system of levels, rage, weapons, monsters, and survival, guided by a sharp-tongued talking wolf named Krieg.
