Fourth-generation islander Caitlin Hart is doing her best to hold on to the life she loves as Madrona Island shifts from a working waterfront to a tourist hotspot. She lives in a cozy cabin on her aunt’s oceanfront estate, where she helps run Harthaven Cat Sanctuary. When she isn't rescuing cats or acting as their guardian, she spends most of her time at Coffee Cat Books, the coffee bar/bookstore/cat lounge she co-owns with her best friend, Tara.
